My anxiety for this interview was soon eased as Michael Franti sent a warm "hello" down the phone line. This is a down-to-earth this guy; he hasn't worn shoes in ten years which surely says enough. Come to think of it, what else could I have expected from the man who has become a modern-day messiah of soul-reggae-hip-hop?

While making a nuisance of myself in the office recently, I was suddenly enchanted by some sublime psychedelic sounds wafting from the powerful dB speakers. "What is this fine music pouring forth from the dB phonograph?", I asked. "Why, it is the new EP from Adelaide's own Ride Into The Sun", responded Mercedes and Ryan in unison, "Here, take the CD to review and be-gone!"
