The Decemberists "I grew up with heavy metal as my first love," says the Decemberists' drummer, John Moen. "I wasn't a very good metal drummer - I'm not that technically proficient - and then stylistically the metal flavour got thin for me, but it is TRULY great to play like that once in a while."
