Clearly not content with their speedy tranformation into one of Australia�s most-loved radio-rock acts, Perth�s Birds Of Tokyo are heading out in November on their Broken Strings tour. This set of acoustic shows will see the band flooding theatres across the country with alternate versions of their fervent brand of rock and roll, backed by a string quartet and concert pianist. Guitarist Adam Spark, who is currently bunkered down writing for the band�s follow-up to their 2008 smash �Universes,� is evidently pretty pumped.

About a year ago, Scarlett Johansson released her debut album, �Anywhere I Lay My Head'. Comprised of Tom Waits covers, it got the �We Liked It�� spot but despite the obvious quality of the recording, not many people wanted to admit that it was actually rather good.
