Butterfly Effect

If someone called a tour Final Conversation the first thing one would think would be a break up tour. Not in this instance, however - Brisbane quartet The Butterfly Effect are veterans to the touring circuit but still arent ready to call it a day. Final Conversation is simply the name of the latest single off of their third studio album, itself titled Final Conversation Of Kings.

The band are getting set to blow peoples minds yet again with their dynamic and powerful live show, and drummer Ben Hall elaborates. We have always found from the very start that people were much more interested in our live product than our recorded product. I dont know how or why, maybe we just have never got it right on our recordings, but people say that same thing and they always have said it since the very start. Theyd say I heard your songs on the radio but then I came and watched you played and it was great!

Wilco (The Album)
Nonesuch/ Warner

Wilco are one of those bands with a real sense of progression to their career what theyve released isnt just a string of albums, its a timeline. Each record, without even knowing the behind-the-scenes story, is easily recognisable as a document of a very specific place and time for the group. Thats not an entirely rare thing, but its certainly very noticeable in Wilcos work. From AM to Sky Blue Sky, the group has grown and changed in so many ways, it would almost be hard to see those albums as being from the same band if it werent for the fact that theyll all so full of Wilcos collective personality and dare I say it soul.
