The Dropkick Murphys

The Dropkick Murphys haven't stolen any corn or taken money from bar girls, but they're being sent to Australia anyway. The last big thing that's happened in the band's life has been their inclusion in the soundtrack for box office smash 'The Departed' and, while this may usually be something where record companies, managers and special connections all come into play, this time it wasn't the case.

Fort Knox Five
Reminted

Inertia

Quickly establishing themselves as not only one of the premier breakbeat acts in the world but also as one of the most sought-after remixers in electronic music, Sid Barcelona, Jon Horvath, Rob Myers and Steve Raskin - collectively known as Fort Knox Five - have released their second album which showcases their signature breakbeat style and sound. Titled 'Reminted', they have coined this term to represent their unique remixing style and this is what this album is exactly about: a mix CD of Fort Knox Five's personally selected remixes of well-known artists, not only from the electronic world but also from various other genres. And it just highlights the deft skills that the group has in 'reminting other artists' tracks.
