Selling out her first ever solo exhibition last year, Miertje Skidmore has fast become one of Art Images Galleries most sought after artists. Also on the bill, Wendie McCaffley, who works in a 1880s industrial blacksmithing workshop in Sydney, utilizing vintage machinery to create forged steel sculptures reminiscent of the Mid-Century Modern aesthetic.

'Rent: The Musical' will make its debut at the Star Theatre on Sir Donald Bradman Drive at Hilton on Fri 7 Nov. It's been a long time coming after sell out shows on Broadway and the local production team and cast indescribably excited by the chance to present this show. If you're keen for a high-powered dose of nostalgia, this show should not be missed by the true 80's lover at heart. For dinner and/ or show bookings call 8431 1822 (Norwood) or 8383 6166 (Clarendon) and get ready to dance the night away to those quintessential 80's faves. Most people remember the 80's, don't they? Even if not fondly?

Clearly, in exhorting Australian's to "Make Deadshits History" and "harden the f**k up!!", Heath Franklin's character 'Chopper' has struck a chord, resonated with the national mood, and tapped the zeitgeist of a nation facing an economic meltdown. In other words, the stage show 'Chopper' is an implausible hit comedy which does the fu**in' job, that's why it's been touring for almost the entire last two years. Here's the dates: Wed 5 and Thurs 6 Nov, Royalty Theatre. Sun 9 Nov, Sir Robert Helpmann Theatre Mt Gambier.
