Prize Frenzy™

Once there was a time when fearsome beasts capable of carrying off unsuspecting villagers in a single poorly manicured talon were left to their own devices by all but the most foolhardy knights desperate to make a name for themselves. Those days are long gone, though, as a letter warning Frenzor™ that he would be under "increased scrutiny" from the ATO reminded that particularly formidable specimen. So, at the behest of his accountant, he's clearing out his lair before the taxman can take it away. Just call 8231 0881 at 1pm on Friday 27 June and ask for any of the following.

1. Look to the 'We Liked It And You Will To' section of this edition, you'll see several men against a background, one sporting a decidedly dodgy moustache. They're Weezer - you might remember them from way back at the dawn of time when they some of the funnest pop songs around, but according to Matt Vesely they're back to some of their best form, and to get one of three copies just get on the blower and ask for 'The Red Album'.

2. Another blast from the past are Devo, who will be here in the flesh soon enough, but to secure your ticket right this minute, you can call up and win on of three double passes.

3. Fresh from their highly successful CD launch, Octanic have organised the massive Adelaide Rocks 2008 event on Sat 5 July, when three powerhouse bands will combine to fill Live On Light Square with noisy noise of the most robust sort. Frenzor™ has two passes to see Octanic, Hollywood Gun Club and Generation Swine.

4. Ever since he added five copies of Scarlett Johansson's 'Anywhere I Lay My Head' to his pile of loot, Frenzor™ his noticed a sharp increase in the number of dreamy would be dragon slayers approaching his lair, so he's decided to get rid of every single one of them, with you being the beneficiary.

5. Wolf & Cub are back in business, and they're launching their new single at The Ed Castle with The Holidays on Sat 5 July. Though it's a lovely spot, The Ed Castle isn't known for its size so if you want to go you'd best get in quick or ask Frenzor™ for the double pass he's managed to get a hold of.

6. Another one you'll have to be quick for is Angus & Julia Stone because there's just a single double pass available for that show as well, the dreamy siblings playing at Thebarton Theatre on Fri 27 Jun - the very day that Prize Frenzy occurs.

Online Frenzy™

Alexis Buxton-Collins certainly enjoyed reviewing the BBC's 'Hustle' series, and thanks to Hopscotch there are three copies of the box set to give away if you head online to www.dbmagazine.com.au and answer the question found there.

The final episode of Season One saw the cast of 'Hustle' recreate a con from which classic movie? Send all answers to frenzy@dbmagazine.com.au
