Ahn Do
For a comedian who centres a fair bit of his material around his Vietnamese heritage, it's hard to think of anyone with more ocker delivery. Not only is his vocal style dead-set Strayn, but the jokes are firmly in the realm of cars, Sheilas and larrikinism. It's all very straightforward, undemanding fare. Not that his jokes aren't good - though a few veer close to Henny Youngman "Take My Wife, Please!" territory - but they'll generally make you laugh without thinking too much.

The Mountain Goats
Heretic Pride
4AD/ Remote Control
Now in their 17th year as a group loosely formed around John Darnielle, The Mountain Goats' 16th album sounds... kinda how you'd expect it to, considering the trend set by their last few offerings. 'Heretic Pride' is probably the most skillfully arranged album by the 'Goats, and the group certainly employs the spare instrumentation to the best effect on this one.
