I gotta say I am so excited about Parklife. I've travelled to Sydney for the past two years to head to it, and I'm so excited that Adelaide is finally getting to experience it. But there's plenty more on as well, but not as much seeing that there's a long weekend coming up...
Sun 23 Sept sees Parklife arrive in Adelaide. Parklife is Sydney's longest running dance festival and this year it is loaded with the very best of local and international artists. You will hear a wide variety of dance styles from the best names in the business. Set in the beautiful Botanic Park in the Adelaide Botanic Gardens, home to Adelaide's biggest music event Womadelaide, Parklife is sure to be a world of its own. Performers include Adam Freeland, Ajax, busy p, Craze, Derrick Carter, Greg Packer, Justice, Kid Kenobi and MC Shureshock, mstrkrft, Scratch Perverts, Stereo MCs all doing DJ sets, with Digitalism, Justice, Lyrics Born, MIA, Riot In Belgium, Shapeshifter and The Herd performing live sets.
Acetate presents d'n'b double drop legend Mampi Swift with MC IC3 playing a massive three hour set on Fri 28 Sept at St Pauls. Supported by John Doe, Patch, Fiction, Havok, Batch with G-Swift and Pase.
The inthemix50 DJ Poll is now in its 5th year! Your favourite DJs will be joined by some of Australia's most popular producers spinning their latest and greatest tracks. Local DJs include Kontrol, Reelax, Brendon, Josh, Patch, H-Bomb, Steve Hart, Mr S, Fiction, and Sarez. HQ Complex on Fri 28 Sept.
After the massive show with Benga at Rhino, the dubstep crew are back in full effect at Fad with Thunderclap on Sat 29 Sept.
