Although we didn't get a list of winners before going to press, we at dB would like to congratulate all the nominees and winners at the 10th South Australian Dance Music Awards. I was thinking, this is winter, things should be quietening down, but they're not, and this is because of the hard working DJs, club promoters and venue owners who pour their heart and soul into this! Big ups everyone, and big ups Sasha for getting the SADMA's up and running again.

Ultraworld returns for one final hurrah at St Pauls. Yes, St Pauls, the home to many a fine rave, is unfortunately closing down, so the Ultraworld crew are farewelling the dwelling in fine style. Joining in the festivities are Teebee, Calyx, Alex Szahala and RX alongside three rooms of Adelaide's finest. This will also be the last chance you'll get to see one of Adelaide's greatest DJs, DJ Noddy, grace the decks, so it shall truly be a night to never forget. Sat 7 July is the date of this momentous occasion, and St Pauls is the place.

And in "Only in Greece" news, the Ejekt Festival in Athens was besieged by anarchists during the Beastie Boys set recently. No one is sure if it was the anarchists misinterpreting the lyrics to Fight For Your Right To Party, but one of the injured was Underworld DJ Rick Smith, who was initially taken to Athens Hospital but later returned to the UK.
