After two years tucked away next to the Acadamy Cinema serving Adelaide's d'n'b DJs with the hottest vinyl and slickest threads, the inbound record shop is moving to a new spot at 34 Wyatt Street Adelaide, just behind The Office (off Pirie Street). The shop at Hindmarsh Square will be open until Sat 16 June and they will be having a sale to try and clear most stock, and the boys tell me that fingers crossed, the new store will be opening on Fri 22 June.

Breakbeat's finest b-boys, the Freestylers, are returning to Oz this June for a mid-Winter tour. From their early work on Freskanova to the mega hit Push Up the Freestylers have always rocked the spot. Their DJ sets are legendary and after skipping Adelaide on several tours (and almost this one) get set for a night of phat ass beats at Thur 14 June at HQ.

Calling all you hep kats, freaks, booty shakers, peace lovers, dance floor junkies, charlie wheelers, music makers, fiddly dids and disco kidz, the long awaited vinyl EP 'kickn' against the bricks' by artist amoeba muzak is being launched on Sat 16 June at Sugar. Local support from Tim Carter feat Sidwho on strings, Moto, and Abbi.

All that witnessed Rennie Pilgrem smash up the Marble Bar would know that breaks are alive and well in Adelaide so Sure Shot yet again brings over a huge talent in the form of Sydney's Dopamine. With releases on some of the biggest labels in the business, including Rennie Pilgrem's TCR, Title Fight Recordings, Sound of Habib, Diverted and more, his monster debut tune Hold You was voted best breaks single at last years breakspoll awards. Sure Shot and Marble Bar are proud to welcome Dopamine back to Adelaide on Fri 22 June at the Marble Bar with locals Dusk, Halogen and Leezee.

Bass Element proudly presents Gridlok on his Break The System tour at Tonic on Fri 22 June. Hailing from the USA, raised in sunny Florida and trained as a classical violinist, Gridlok soon found himself edging away from the constraints of a traditional musical education and towards the harder sounds of d'n'b. This will be his first visit to Adelaide, and he will be joined by the finest locals Patch, John Doe, Mark 7, D n Bassador, and Underground, so give him a welcome he deserves. And don't forget your kevlar vests!

Two of the most prolific hardcore producers, Ophidian and Endymion, head to Adelaide for Enzyme Infection at Gateway Nightclub on Fri 22 June. Alongside Adelaide's finest Ism, Tantrum, Nitrous, antics, Wad E, Daana, Evil-D, Axiomyx, Zyphor, who says Hardcore is dead?

Trancemission hits HQ on Fri 22 June with DJ Yoshi from Sydney, Devious, MR S, Brett James, DR Damage & Contagious. Within Australia's hard dance scene, Yoshi has become Australia's most wanted DJ! In recent years, he has earned himself a massive following and obtained residences in some of Australia's top clubs and parties. With his record label EyeDeal Records he has established himself as one of Australia's leading DJs. Renowned for his inspiring sound, whether it be driving hard dance, banging hard house, or his uplifting trance, the Yoshi sound is always full of energy giving you no time to rest!

Ahhhh Traffic. They say if you remember it, you weren't really there, but that isn't stopping Playtime doing a Traffic Reunion party at the old venue at 58 North Tce on Sat 23 June. DJs MPK, Patch, Fiction, John Doe & Del with MC's G Swift & Pase are the selectors playing you the best d'n'b from the era of Traffic.

And don't forget the SA Dance Music Awards night is on Mon 25 June! Tables are $90 per person and include a four-course meal and drinks package, with part proceeds going to The Cancer Council and Novita's Children Services. Email ticketsales@sadancemusicawards.com.au for more information.
