So, this is Christmas. And what have you done? Gone out to lots of parties and then some! I've had a fantastic 2006 and have seen some amazing acts blow the roof off Adelaide and I'd like to thank all the promoters, DJs, and most importantly, punters for making this year absolutely spectacular!

Playtime Xmas Jam brings El Hornet of Pendulum back for an encore performance after his amazing Enchanted set. He's also got a couple of newbies tagging along to Adelaide with him in the form of Chase And Status and Psi Dream. This show is d'n'b lovers' wet dream, so get along to HQ on Sat 22 December - this is one not to be missed!

Well, it's that time again where we all come together for the V.I.P. party at Mojo West on Xmas Eve, Sun 24 December. Those of you who attended previous V.I.P. parties know how these work and how much fun they are. DJs include Quantum playing '80s and '90s, Pratty playing party breaks, Graham pumping the garage and Switch vs Static providing d'n'b. The food and drink package includes a BBQ and of course Xmas pudding and ice-cream and starts at 8 pm, finishing at midnight, so you can be home before Santa climbs down ya chimney! We Love Sounds loves Xmas and also must love Adelaide as they're bringing some of the biggest beat brokers to town. The stellar line-up includes DJ Z-Trip, Kenny Ken, Shimon, The Nextmen and DJ Dexter alongside Adelaide's finest DJs. So in Christmas tradition head along to St Pauls on Christmas Day, Mon 25 December and celebrate in style.

And further on the d'n'b tip, Brazil's finest export since waxing and nuts, DJ Marky, returns to Adelaide to show us how to really celebrate New Years Eve! Alongside him will be the fantastic MC Stamina rocking the rhymes and NZ boys Concord Dawn who will also slam it down. All this and more at Viva Function Centre, Light Square on Sun 31 December.

Four Strings headline Earth's New Year's Eve celebrations, with the club undergoing a party metamorphosis to make full use of the space. Chock-a-block with Karma residents in support, there's no place like Earth for New Year's on Sun 31 December.

Step right up this NYE to HQ also, as the circus comes to town in the form of Welcome, featuring your one and only ring leader and top ten-ranked DJ in the world, BBC Radio 1's Judge Jules. With entertainment to stimulate your mind, body and soul, this party is like nothing Adelaide has ever seen before with a total venue transformation! A monkey's cage of Adelaide's finest DJs has been gathered to play alongside the 'Judge, so get to HQ on Sun 31 December for a heavenly time.

The Shores on a New Year's Day has become something of an institution in Adelaide and this year they welcome d'n'b to the fold! Kicking off at midday, head down to West Beach on Mon 1 January 2007 for a day of DJs, bands, food and fun.

Of course, all the regular clubs like Savvy, Garage, Rocket, Electric Light, Crown And Sceptre, Mojo and so forth will have their own special nights with regular DJs, so check in with them to see what they've got in store too!
