7 Things To Do...

1. Get there, and get there fast! With a festive bent, The Adelaide Harmony Choir presents its annual 'Festival Of Carols' on Wed 20 Dec from 8.00pm in the Adelaide Town Hall. Guest artists are harpist Carolyn Burgess-Johansson, flautist Sophie Mulder, Ryszard Pusz on Marimba together with trumpets, organ and choir.

2. At the Jam Factory, who always cut the stylish rug in the lead up to Christmas, there is currently a display of ceramics and rugs from the Ernabella lands to our north. 'Heartland Homeland' is an exhibition of the collected works of artists from Ernabella; on display until 21 Jan 2007.

3. Here's the advance notice: 'Menopause The Musical' opens at Her Majesty's Theatre on Tues 9 Jan. 'Menopause' is the smash hit musical which has played in over 40 cities around the world so far...

4. Well, it must be that time of the year again, for the annual Christmas Harmony performance by the Adelaide Harmony Choir is on tonight - the day this magazine hits the streets - in the Adelaide Town Hall on Wed 20 Dec from 8pm.

5. 'Art From Inside' is a collection of works from poets and artists from Mobilong Prison, on display at the Newland Gallery until Sun 28 Jan. Newland Gallery can be found opposite the lighthouse at McLaren Parade, Port Adelaide.

6. You've missed the Rambutan Circus Collective, the first performance act for Higher Ground's artist encouragement programme 'Hothouse', but there's still time to book tickets for the next in the series. 'The Hidden Family Of Her: A Mask Exploration' is a new work of experimental proportion from young theatre director Toni Main. It's season at Higher Ground (Rundle St, city) runs from Thurs 1 Feb 2007.

7. 'Quiver' is back. That's the 13th Annual mixed media exhibition celebrating the surf culture and the coastal environment, and now open at the Arts Centre, Old Institute Building in Port Noarlunga.
