dB Readers' AwardsThe 2006 dBra Awards!

Hey, South Australia!

The dB Magazine Readers Awards (or, as we acronymically know it as, the dBras) is happening again and it's your chance to let us know what local talent has floated your rock'n'roll boat over the past 12 months - and considering that it's been what many consider to be the raddest year for Adelaide music in a good long time, we expect to see some enthusiastic nominations happening.

Nominate in the various categories for your favourite bands, solo artists, DJs, releases, events, venues etc: top five nominees in each category go into the voting round with the eventual winners in each category announced in the final issue of 2005.

And remember: the dBras are the ONLY South Australian music awards that are completely and utterly voted for by YOU, the punter who's actually out there seeing bands and listening to music.

Nominations close in a couple of weeks, so get online and get voting!

Follow the instructions as laid out below and make your vote count!

    THE RULES

  1. The results are BY ONLINE PUBLIC VOTING ONLY. In other words: it's up
    to you, punters.
  2. Don't nominate more than once since we're tracing where votes are
coming from and we'll just wipe yours. You'll look like a fool and be of no
use to anyone. This is all about representing SA music, so help us out here.
  3. Fill in as many categories as you are able. However, your nominations still count if you haven't filled in all the categories.
  4. Nominations close on Sunday 26th Nov. The winners will be announced on Wed 6th Dec!
  5. Got a website? Feel free to link to the dBras.
  6. … Vote!

If you're not familiar with any of these acts and their work check out the
search function on www.dbmagazine.com.au for all the latest news and
    reviews.
