Those living in the Riverland area will get a chance to see the groups perform at the much more convenient venue of the Loxton Hotel on Sat 15 April. Both shows will be all-ages.
On Mon 24 April there will be a show at the Enigma Bar featuring German band Profanation, with support from local acts Meat Wallet, Mythica and Hatred Slave. Doors open at 8pm.
Soon to embark upon a mammoth overseas tour, Byron Bay's Parkway Drive will be doing a national farewell tour that will see them performing here on Thurs 27 April at Fowler's Live. The show will be all-ages, and will also feature Her Nightmare, Jungle Fever and Stronghold. The band will also be continuing with their All Ages Assault Tour, which will see them performing at the Mt Gambier RSL with Torn Identity and a few other groups on Fri 28 April.
Also on Fri 28 April will be this month's installment of the War Room at the Enigma Bar with, among other groups, Raven Black Night and Chalice. Melbourne's The Eternal were also to have played, but had to pull out due to other commitments (namely, supporting Opeth on their latest Australian tour). On the subject of Raven Black Night, a reminder that this band will be playing at the Evil Invaders Festival in Melbourne. Held at the Green Room on Fri 2 June and Sat 3 June, this event (tickets for which are now on sale for those willing to make the trip) will also feature local bands Star Gazer, Darklord and Beyond Mortal Dreams.
On Sat 29 April, there will be a show at the Crown and Anchor featuring locals Los Diablos and Guantanamo Bay City Rollers.
Tickets are now on sale for the Australian tour of Canadian hardcore band Silverstein, who last played in this country about a year ago. The band will be performing at a licensed all-ages show at Fowler's Live on Fri 26 May, with support from locals I Killed The Prom Queen (who have a new vocalist from the UK and will be joining the star attraction on their national tour), as well as Melbourne's The Getaway Plan.
