Prize Frenzy™!

You'll be glad to know that Frenzor™'s back on the pony this issue and feeling hale and hearty. Which is more than can be said for the pony, who's really not looking or smelling too good at the moment. We don't think it's long for this world, frankly, which is probably for the best. In any case, you can celebrate the pointless death of a helpless animal by calling 8231 0881 at 1pm on Fri 31 March and asking the nice person who answers the phone whether you can have your choice of the following:

1. Ryan Smith chats with Funeral For A Friend's Ryan Richards about their upcoming Thebarton Theatre show on Wed 5 April and how cool it is to be on the front cover of dB Magazine - and we have five doubles to the aforementioned gig, thanks to Peter Darwin and Chugg Entertainment.

2. Aquasky not only get to be interviewed by Ben Ford Smith in this issue: they also get the incomparable honour of being this issue's 'We Liked It And You Will Too', and Inertia mark the occasion with a couple of copies of their 'Teamplayers' CD.

3. Pete Murray tells Steve Jones all about his upcoming tour and future plans, and Chrissie Vincent Publicity has come to the party with three copies of his recent 'See The Sun' CD.

4. Andrew P Street becomes lost in a nostalgic reverie this issue whilst speaking to Jodi Phillis about the imminent visit of The Girls From The Clouds, and we have three double passes to their show at Fowler's Live on Fri 31 March, thanks to the venue.

5. Comrade Cassie Hilditch is very taken by the Socialist sounds of The (International) Noise Conspiracy, and you could join her at the barricades - well, at the front of the stage, at least - at their Fowler's Live show on Tues 11 April, thanks to Scorpion Entertainment.

6. Jess Law has been enraptured by the sheer cuteness of Jack Johnson's 'Sing-A-Longs and Lullabies for the Film Curious George': read her review in this issue, then grab a copy thanks to UMA.

7. 'V For Vendetta' could be one of the best films this year, at least according to Andrew P Street's breathless review in this issue: check it out, then grab an in-season double pass thanks to Fosters Workshop PR.

8. You like the sounds of both Further and the Tucker B's? Sure you do! And you could be catching both bands (and the fine Straight To Video folks) at the Rocket Bar on Fri 31 March, thanks to Remote Control. Both bands are interviewed in this issue, and you'll want to read all about them.

9. Nina Bertok asks Tim Freedman all about the new Whitlams double album 'Little Cloud' in this issue, and you can enjoy the subject of their ruminations by grabbing a copy thanks to Warners.

Online Only Frenzy™!

This is early, but it's great. The all-star indie juggernaut that is the Sekiden/Spod/I Heart Hiroshima tour is coming to the Enigma Bar on Thurs 30 March and the Frenztron6000™ has extricated three doubles from the fine folks at Valve/Consume, so the first three people to send andrew@dbmagazine.com.au a polite email saying they'd like to get along will be accomodated.
