Metal News.

On Sun 19 March, there will be a big all-ages show at the Crown & Anchor Hotel featuring A Red Dawn, 21 Division, Deafening Silence, Within Reason and new local outfit Dead Hours, for whom the gig will be their first. Also performing will be Whyalla band This Drowning Misery, who have been local supports for many high-calibre Adelaide and interstate acts that have played in that city. Doors open at 4 PM.

On Sat 25 March, there will be a dry, all-ages show at the Reynella Enterprise Youth Centre featuring Later That Night, Truth Corroded and Pigsteerer, as well as a few more bands to be announced. Doors open at 4pm.

After breaking for the Fringe, monthly dark dance event Necromancy will return to the Enigma Bar on Sat 25 March. The night's entertainment starts at 10pm and it might pay to be early, as the first 50 people through the door will receive a Dresden Dolls DVD. There will be tons of other giveaways as well, such as CDs, DVDs, piercing vouchers and collectable figures.

Embarking on their first-ever tour of Australia, US dark hardcore/crust act Artimis Pyle will be doing a couple of shows here on Thurs 30 March and Fri 31 March. Thursday's show will be at the Crown and Anchor and also feature Meat Wallet, whilst Friday's all-ages show will be at Avalon Gallery and also feature Guantanamo Bay City Rollers and Los Diablos. Also playing on both nights will be national tour supports Pisschrist, who hail from Melbourne.

On Sun 2 April, there will be an all-ages show at the Crown and Anchor featuring Raven Black Night, Juggermath, Mythica, Team Metal and Synnove. Doors open at 4pm.

Finally, apologies to anyone who tried to send me stuff last week, and had their message bounced back because my Inbox was supposedly full. It wasn't, so I can only assume that my server (whose behaviour has gone from irritating to downright stupid of late) is to blame. Also a reminder to people not to send attachments with their news items. Most of you have been good about complying with this request since I first made it, although I have had a few promoters attempt to send me several megabytes' worth of completely unnecessary attachments with their messages. Please don't do it, whoever you are; it only clogs up the system. In future, any such messages will simply be deleted, unread, at the source.
