Big Day Out Art Competition 2006!.
Over the Christmas break there's going to be more than a few
people working feverishly on their entries for dB Magazine's
sixth annual Big Day Out Art Competition, since entries close
on Wed 18 Jan, and the winning entry will be the cover of
the Wed 25 Jan issue.
And if that singular honour wasn't reason enough to get out
the construction paper, flour glue and glitter pens there's
the fact that said winner will also score two VIP passes to
the Big Day Out plus around 30 CDs from the acts on the bill.
Two runners-up will get a double pass each, and by the time
we choose our winners it's more than likely there won't be a
ticket available anywhere else.
Hence, get your creative juices flowing and come up with something
based around Big Day Out 2006 - either the day as a whole, or
do something connected with the specific artists on the bill
- as long as it's BDO-themed and utterly brilliant, we'll be
content. And thanks again to the good people at the Adelaide
BDO and national publicist Patti Revson.
Oh, we should also mention: if you happen to be under 15 and
take out the prize, your guest had better be an adult who can
look after you since the Big Day Out is rated MA. Just keep
that in mind...
