So, anyone see the news the other week? Three (or four, depending on what day you read the Advertiser) people OD'd at Enchanted, all on fantasy. Oh, and they're all recovered by the time the Advertiser went to print. I wonder how many people OD'd in the city that night, or how many drink drivers they caught... But you know it's amazing how you can make a story out of nothing. Seems the other 8000 partygoers had a ball though, and the promoters, ambulance, police, and council were very happy with the event.

And as you can see this week is a pretty quiet one, as everyone gears up for the festive season which includes the mighty Pendulum, the awesome Kosheen alongside the wicked The Bird, the incredible Krafty Kuts and super Stanton Warriors, Captain Tinrib, Andy Farley, Ignition Technician, Organ Donors, and Shimon & Fresh... It's going to be a HOT summer!

The fabulous 5158 crew of Mark 7 & Evolutionary Theory finally launch Vol 5 of Adelaide's home grown d'n'b label 5158 Records. Hosted at Black Cat Night Club on Fri 16 Dec, this is an absolute must for any dnb fan. Featuring Mark7 & Etheroy featuring vocalists L.I.V.E. alongside Patch Vs Fiction, MPK, G-Swift and Technine, in one room and the winners of the Rinse Assault competition - Grimey, Velocity, Weez, Benzaah, Switch, Paul-D and Jayar - in the other room. Congratulations to the winners, and big ups 5158 for promoting Adelaide music!

Flashback at Earth Night club features the Brats Babes Jaki J and Lady J, presenting "live and feisty performance" (no, I'm not sure what that means either) of the best dance remixes of the 70's, 80's & 90's, and on launch day (Wed 14 Dec) they present the Top 100 Hits of the Century! It really is becoming like Heaven in Earth!

And there is no rest for the wicked, as Fri 16 Dec sees the Enchanted crew and Nu Energy Collective present Freeformation at Earth with UK freeform masters Kevin Energy, Sharkey, Impact, AMS, K Complex, with local support Oddyssey, Devious, Mr S, and Banshee. Prepared to be destroyed by the aural onslaught for which the Nu Energy Crew is world renowned.

We'll be back next week to cover all the Christmas shows in more detail, so until then party safe and party hard!
