Big Day Out Art Competition 2006!.
Yeah, you know it: dB Magazine are running the annual Big Day
Out Art Competition again. In fact, 2006 will the sixth year
in Adelaide's artistic types can score themselves VIP double
passes and a pack of BDO-related CDs simply by knocking up a
piece of BDO-themed artwork in any medium, thanks to the good
people at the Adelaide BDO and national publicist Patti Revson.
Runners-up get VIP passes, but the overall winner also gets
the singular honour of gracing the front cover of dB Magazine's
special BDO issue on Wed 25 Jan.
Hence, get your creative juices flowing and come up with something based around Big Day Out 2006 - either the day as a whole, or do something connected with the specific artists on the bill - as long as it's BDO-themed and utterly brilliant, we'll be content.
Start those preliminary sketches now, as entries will close Wed 18 Jan 2006 (which is sooner than you think...). And since the event's a dead-set certainty to sell out, you might want your entry to be exceptionally good...
