Who needs iTunes? Trackitdown.net, the world's largest dance music download site is now offering DJs the chance to download their favourite artists' tunes as WAV files. Supplying music from over 1100 independent dance labels, including Adelaide's own Volatile records, TrackItDown has the CD DJ covered from all styles including house, trance, techno, hardcore, breakbeat, drum and bass, psy-trance, lounge and hard dance.

The official Launch of Thirsty Thursdays with special guests the Warp Brothers happens at Earth on Thur 17 Nov with local support by Odyssey, Miss Em, Steve Hart, Brett Whitter & JoSH

More superstars of d'n'b hit Adelaide with Raiden & Robyn Chaos touching down at Black Cat on Fri 18 Nov, supported by Patch, MPK, Fiction, Filter, JohnDoe, Jason and Vilen, with Xpress and Pase on the mic.

The future of house music arrives in Adelaide for the first ever time! DJ behind the latest Balance 008 mix Desyn Masiello will be funking up the house at Sugar on Sat 19 Nov.

Finally Adelaide has not one but TWO monthly breaks nights being launched this month. 'Pop Ya Cherry' happens once a month at Tonic and features John Doe & Anzac in the back room with Brendon, James & Damage taking care of proceedings out the front on Fri 18 Nov. Each month a selection of Adelaide's finest will be making guest appearances with 2004 breaks DJ of the year K2 steppin' up for a 2 hour jam!

The second monthly club is the ABC Spring Jam at Sugar on Fri 25 Nov. DJs John Doe, Noodle, Didge, Spark, Anzac and Lachy Pender have joined forces to create the Adelaide Breaks Collective in a concerted effort to get breaks to the forefront in this town. They are going all out on promoting our homegrown talent and their ability to destroy a dancefloor, so if you're curious about the sound that the rest of Australia has been digging make sure you get along!

Schoolies is on again in Victor Harbour on Sun 27 Nov, and for all the hip-hop heads Da Klinic are hosting a throwdown stage with Terra Firma and Shep, along with the Da Klinic breakers. There's also going to be a MC battle, judged by Terra Firma, on the second stage right after Joel Turner does his thing. This is expected to be one of the funniest MC battles ever as every MC is expected to roast the Idol upstart good and proper.

With an unprecedented success with their 2003 album 'The Calling', released on seminal hip-hop imprint Obese Records, The Hilltop Hoods have been busy playing to packed out shows and festivals everywhere. To celebrate the South Australian trio's success a brand new DVD, featuring live performances, film clips, backstage antics, a photo gallery, outtakes, special features, and an sneak peek at some of their latest material is being released this month, ahead of their forthcoming as-yet-to-be-titled album which drops in the Autumn of next year.

Adelaide's hottest new venue Club Feva is proud to announce 'Temple Of Boom' on Fri 25 Nov with two rooms rammed full of drum'n'bass, blending new and old school favourites. DJs include Patch, MPK, Mark7, Static, Rolex, Fluid, Asterix, Hob G, Triborg, Render, Cyphon with MCs Riccochet, Pase & Quantum. Club Feva is located at Level 1 279a Hindley St. right next to Marcellina's Pizza.

And in what I think is the greatest news of this year, the incredible Pop Will Eat Itself are recording a new album, the first one in nine years. Announced on the official 'unofficial' website PWEINation.org, a brief 10-minute mash of ten new tunes was released in MP3 form and distributed via bittorrent. The sonic noise byte wasn't nearly enough, leaving desperate fans hungry for more. Another act that announced their long awaited album was Massive Attack. Vocalist/producer Robert Del Naja recently appeared on their official forum saying, "We've recorded vocals on about 5 tracks and have vocals to put down on at least 15 more before Christmas which is drawing horrifically close". We live in a golden age.
