Well, last Tuesday (Tues 25 Oct) iTunes finally launched in Australia. Yay!! Now you can download Tiesto's remixed CD, and a whole bunch of cool podcasts about dance music and more! Although there are still some holdouts (SonyBMG are not yet on board, for example) there's still plenty to be delighted about: for one thing, Inertia's whole distribution catalogue is available, which includes so very, very much good dance music.

The next Funkshop will host the official launch of London Electricity's new album 'Power Ballads' out now on Hospital/Inertia. There will be giveaways of this fantastic album on Fri 4 Nov at Tonic, with residents Patch and Fiction plus guests John Doe, Restless alongside MCs Xpress and G-Swift.

Bored on a Tuesday night? Well get some Sugar into you with their special six hour sets! A few weeks ago DJ Patch showed why he's Adelaide's best d'n'b DJ with an awesome set of hip-hop, house and d'n'b, and now Jayar steps up to the spot promising to funk you up. It's all happening at Sugar on Tues 8 Nov.

The Northline boys put on their first party at Black Cat on Fri 11 Nov with DJs Sham, Bleek, Moment, Venom and Jostie along side Adelaide favs D-Jon, Mark7, Static, Rummage, Rolex with MCs Stryke, Snype and Northlines own MC Seek.

The Jam continues to rock it out large at Mojo on Fri 11 Nov with the Street Level Sound System: that's Grif, Trucker and Chris playing nothing but the freshest two step, dancehall and reggae. Breaks DJ Funky J is also ready to rip up the dance floor once again with the sickest breaks in Adelaide. Once again we'll have a special guest dropping dope hip-hop beats early, so listen to Fresh FM's Street Level for more info!

Dance invades the suburbs! Wild Weekender starts Sat 12 Nov as some of the biggest party DJs in Australia invade The Village Taverner in Golden Grove. Melbourne's ARIA winning Sgt Slick aka DJ Andy J of mega group Smash'n'Grab joins forces with Sydney's DJ Nik Fish and Adelaide's legendary club and radio DJ Brendon along with DJs ATB, Cheeky.B, Adrian.V and MC Rudeboy.

Lastly, it's only a month to Enchanted Forest! It's happening on Sat 3 Dec, with a line up including DJs Paul Glazby, Public Domain (DJ set), Martin Solvieg, Scott Bond, Lab4, Micky Finn, Bad Company, Scott Brown, Moving Fuzion, John Askew, Hixxy, Kevin Energy, Sharkey, Misjah (Dyewitness), MC Shabba D, Sonic, Simon Bassline Smith, Kid Kenobi, Sureshock, Lenny Dee, Ignition Technician, Bexta, Cabin Crew, Simon Eve, MC/DJ Ribbz, Dr Willis and more, so get your ass into gear and head over to www.enchantedforest.com.au/promo/ to get your name down for free water. Yes, you read that right: no drinks will be allowed into the venue AT ALL this year because you don't want to wait in massive lines as cars are searched, so they're providing FREE bottles of water to everyone that registers online.
