Necro aka The Sexorcist Necro
Necro aka The Sexorcist
Psychological/Shock

Like Eminem, New York-based Necro is a white rapper with a penchant for writing very sick rhymes; indeed, his raps tend to make many of Slim Shady's look tame and restrained. 'Necro aka The Sexorcist' is possibly his most offensive work to date: an album that could be considered the musical equivalent of a hardcore porn video, revolving entirely around sex at its most violent, perverted and depraved.

As seems his usual practice, Necro marries most of his vulgar rhymes with beautiful music (much of it sounding at least a few decades old) while also dabbling in metal here and there, the metal-sounding tracks on this offering Edge Play (a very disturbing piece about the joys of sexual torture) and I Wanna F--k, whose chorus is set to the music of Twisted Sister's I Wanna Rock. As is usual for Psychological releases, other artists on the label contribute backing vocals in various tracks, while Necro has also enlisted the "talents" of quite a few workers in the American adult entertainment industry, among them women uttering the sort of dialogue you'd expect to hear in a skin flick alongside such famed male performers as Jerry Butler, Ron Jeremy (who, among other things, reveals himself to be something of a poet), and Dick Nasty (who sounds far too nice and jolly a chap to be involved in all this smutty business). A couple of recurrent themes that come through in the album are that, as the title boasts, Necro is "The Sexorcist", and that he is also staggeringly well-endowed (a point that a "skit" track involving porn star Brittany Andrews goes to rather ridiculous... er, lengths to make).

This is an album that's sure to provoke a strong reaction; you'll either find it one of the most disgusting pieces of trash you've ever listened to, or, if you suffer from various psychological abnormalities (as I do), utterly hilarious. If it strikes you as something you'd like to hear yourself, it'd probably be a good idea to get your hands on a copy ASAP; I wouldn't be at all surprised if it ends up being banned.
