Adam Barclay Rust.

Adam always said "fuck this city", but we know that this was
always said tongue-in-cheek. For starters, he found the love
of his life here in Jenny, whom he proudly married just a week
before. He found us too: his dream of a rock'n'roll band.
Superlux formed just over two years ago. After initially jamming on Adam's solo material, it took a year of solid work before debuting at the Jade Monkey in November 2003 to a capacity crowd. Those of you privileged enough to catch a Superlux show would have witnessed a vocalist with an unending passion in striving for musical excellence. He was a perfectionist... and damn perfect in our eyes.
He sang his heart out every rehearsal and every gig - never accepting second best at the mic, but often bitching about how "Paulie screwed us over with the PA again".
Jen's co-groupies - Jess and Kelly - will miss seeing you live mate, and hearing you belt out another great tune.
We'll miss you too. Our love and thoughts are with you Jen and the rest of your families.
It was an absolute privilege to be a part of Superlux. Hottest 100 Day - and life - won't be the same without you.
