Prize Frenzy™!

So that was summer? Frenzor™'s a little unimpressed, frankly, but then again he's always done his best work in the colder months, under cover of a deep, oppressive mist which masks his hellish atrocities, only lifting periodically to provide a terrifying glimpse of the horrors within. But don't dwell too long on that, or on how your own blistered body will one day be amongst the fetid, pungent pile of victims squirming beneath Frenzor™'s clawed foot as he howls to the godless skies; better that you be distracted briefly by the promise of free stuff, which you can win by calling 8231 0881 at 1pm on Fri 11 March.

1. Ben Lee is gracing our cover, and this issue features a summit of the Bens when he speaks with dB Magazine's Mr Revi. The subject of their discussions is Mr Lee's new album 'Awake Is The New Sleep', and we have copies of said album up for grabs thanks to Inertia.

2. Gomez fans, rejoice! Not only do we have an interview in this issue (again with the redoubtable Mr Revi) but we have two Gomez prize packs that can only be described as "freakin' brilliant": a double pass to their show at Thebarton Theatre on Tues 22 March and their entire back catalogue: 'Split The Difference', 'Abandoned Shopping Trolley Hotline', 'Bring It On', 'Liquid Skin' and 'In Our Gun'! You better give mad props to Anouk Van Meeuwen Publicity for that handsome haul.

3. Andrew P Street reckons that Low's 'The Great Destroyer' is jaw-droppingly rad, and you can hear why it's 'We Liked It And You Will Too' by grabbing a copy that Stomp have kindly sent our way.

4. Cog's Real Life is the radio single from the forthcoming 'The New Normal' CD and is only available as a download from the Triple J site... except here, where you can score yourself a very specie promo-only disc, thanks to the band and Deborah Gann!

5. GT Stringer's Trevor Ramsay talks to Blake Lewis all about the 'Stringer's new 'Boobytrap!' CD, and we have three copies up to grabs thanks to the band!

6. Fancy checking out Keanu Reeves in 'Constantine'? We have in-season double passes on offer, thanks to the good people at Foster Workshop PR.

7. Or maybe you'd like to hear Dan Brodie's new 'Beautiful Crimes', which he talks about with Nina Bertok in this issue? You're in luck: we've been furnished with copies by EMI.

9. How about Art Of Fighting? They're playing at Jive on Thurs 17 March and chat with Eddie Chan in this issue, and we have a couple of double passes thanks to Mad Dog Publicity.

10. Or maybe you've got a yen for some psychobilly, Tiger Army style? We've got double passes to their show on Thurs 17 March at the Enigma Bar thanks to Resist - and check out Ryan Smith's interview with Nick 13 in this issue.

11. Wade Howland has a most pleasant chat to Dave Kushner of Velvet Revolver about their recent Australian tour, and we've got copies of their self-titled CD up for grabs thanks to SonyBMG.

12. Maybe gentle Irish songcraft's more your speed? You'd want to get along to Luka Bloom at the Gov on Sat 19 March then, won't you? The Gov think so, hence the two double passes they've handballed our way.

13. Then again, films involving people getting all martial arts on each other are pretty sweet, so you might prefer to grab an in-season pass to 'Ong Bak', each of which comes with a 'Ong Bak' cap, and the first caller to request it will also score a poster signed by star Tony Jaa. Cheers, Picture This Marketing!

Online Only Frenzy™!

Since Two Tribes is set to take over the Wayville Showgrounds on Sat 12 March, the Frenztron5000™ has grabbed a very nifty Tribal Pack (containing a double pass to the event, t-shirts, a copy of the Two Tribes CD and a poster) for the lucky winner who answers the following questions, as chosen by the promoters themselves::

1. Who has won the Dance Music Associations Best National Event for the past two consecutive years?
2. What Two Tribes artist are you most looking forward to seeing at the Adelaide showgrounds on Sat 12 March?
3. What is your favourite music style?
