Prize Frenzy™!

There might be a slew of public holidays around this time of year, but Frenzor™ isn't letting a few days off to impact on his infernal prizery. In fact, this fortnight boasts a king's ransom of goodies - assuming, of course, that the kidnappers of said king were keen on CDs and tickets to gigs. And why wouldn't they be? Everyone wants what Frenzor™'s got, and you can also enjoy the illicit thrill of king-napping without any of the legal repercussions by calling 8231 0881 at 1pm on Fri 23 April and making off with the following:

1. Dillinger Escape Plan will tear Fowlers Live to pieces when they play there on Sun 25 April, and you can be party to said piece-tearing by grabbing one of the three double passes that Feel Presents have slipped our way.

2. Fur Patrol are this issue's 'We Liked It And You Will Too' and as luck would have it they're also at Enigma on Sun 25 April. We have three Fur Patrol packs up for grabs, containing a double pass and a copy of their 'Collider' album, thanks to UMG and Atlantis Management!

3. Justin Blatchford reckons that this Mandy Kane fellow has made one of the most interesting Australian albums of recent times, and you can hear why by grabbing one of the five copies of 'Tragic Daydreams' that Warners have generously sent in.

4. It's been a long wait, but worth every minute: Lazaro's Dog have finally unleased their 'Triple Platinum' album, and the band and Dirty Sanchez Management have handed three copies over so that you might enjoy their sophisticated blend of pop-rock and bum jokes in the comfort of your own home. Check out Robby Anderson's interview with Pinna in this issue.

5. Clare Bowditch is coming to Adelaide in support of her rather splendid 'Autumn Bone' album, and she speaks at length with Ben Revi all about it this issue. Lunatic Management think it's right up your alley, and they've sent us three copies to prove it.

6. Endorphin is coming to kick it at the Governor Hindmarsh on Sun 25 April and the Gov have kindly handed over two double passes so that you might kick it with 'em.

7. Welcome to the Frenzy™, we've got fun'n'games - and we have copies of the brand new Guns'n'Roses Best Of as well, thanks to UMG. Check out Wade Howland's review in this issue.

8. Chris Niehus has an entertaining chat with Steve Poltz in this issue, and Ferris Davies PR think you should get along to his show at Jive on Fri 23 April. To that end, they've sent us three double passes.

9. If you can't get along to the above show, Ferris Davies have accommodated you by sending us three copies of Steve Poltz's brand new 'Chinese Vacation' CDs. Nifty!

10. Leni Simos talks the talk with Dan Bejar about the rather special new Destroyer album, 'Yer Blues' - and Trifekta has thrown some highly collectable three-track promo-only samplers of said album, because that's the sort of people they are.

11. Human Nature talk it up with Chris Niehus in this issue, what with them having a new album and everything: that album is called 'Walking The Tightropes' and we have copies up for grabs, thanks to Sony.

Online Only Frenzy™!

Never let it be said that the Frenztron5000™ doesn't know how to make our readers happy. Jet's show at Thebarton Theatre on Thurs 20 May may be completely and utterly sold out, but through a combination of charm, guile and good old-fashioned stand-over tactics the Frenztron500™ has extricated a double pass to the show thanks to Fantin Comes Alive.

How can it be yours?

The person who truly deserves this prize will be the one who can answer the following questions about the three bands on the bill.

1. Upon what record label did Jet release their debut, vinyl-only EP?
2. Davey Lane from the Pictures is also known for his role in what band?
3. Bit By Bats changed their name last year. What were they originally called?
