I love this time of year: public holidays left, right and centre! It's fantastic, and what better way to spend three days off than shakin' ya booty to the fine local, national and international guests that will be gracing our shores in the coming months?

Hailing from the land of wooden shoes and dykes, Misjah Helsloot plays Chemistry on Thurs 22 April. Plus I hear it's one Damaged DJs birthday, so go up and buy the poor old man a well-deserved drink!

Fabric thanks Adelaide for such a massive welcome to Garage back in March! This month Fabric's favourite up and coming DJs S Wicks and Zeus will join residents Mal Chia and Lachlan Pender in Adelaide's new home for progressive house and breaks. Come and experience Fabric's brand new vibe on Fri 23 April. And in another good news for the Fabric guys, Lucien Foort has asked Mal to do a 60-minute set for his Slice! radio show in Holland!

Also getting a little more on-air infamy is the nice man of beats Jayar, who was featured on JJJ a few weeks ago, and will be putting on another one of his awesome Altitude shows soon!

DJ Tiesto and Pete Tong will be returning to our fair shores during April and May for the first ever Australian leg of the successful Heineken Thirst tour. As well as a tour for some of the globe's biggest DJs, Heineken Thirst aims to profile emerging talent with the Found@Thirst heats to take in SA on Sat 24 April at the Garage. Industry representatives will choose up to 10 DJs in each state, each of whom will have a measly 15 minutes to impress judges on the night. Finalists and details can be found at heinekenmusic.com.

Groove kicks on at LeRox down at the Bridgeway on Sat 24 April with special guest Hard Trance/Hardstyle DJ Johnny L all the way from Melbourne town. Join the locals and go hard at the Bridgeway!

Sydney's housemaster Simon Caldwell brings fellow Sydneysider Mako down to turn it out for a marathon DJ mix. Kickin' it at Sugar on Sun 25 April, it's sure to keep you moving all night long.

Endorphin returns once again to promote his latest album 'Seduction,' fusing his signature sounds and exploring new musical collaborations with live musicians and singers: expect to be blown away by this accomplished and much sought after performer, with support from one of Adelaide's greatest techno groups, Ameoba, at the Governor Hindmarsh Hotel on Sun 25 April.

System 6 is proud to team up with most talked about and in demand UK crew. "Pure power" and "energy overload" are the only way to describe the relentless onslaught that the Nu Energy Collective can deliver. Guest DJs for the night include Kevin Energy, Sharkey, Mark Ashley and a host of Adelaide's finest spread over 2 rooms at St Pauls on Sun 25 April.

Join Grif, Pab, Dij and Funky J once again at Mojo for Hooligan Jam. These ratbags promise a night of music that you're unlikely to hear anywhere else in Adelaide, at least on the last Friday of the month!

Witness pure Destruction at the Bridgeway on Sat 1 May. Straight from the UK is Justin Bourne, the man behind Short Circuit Recordings and resident of Heat, Tasty, Decadance, Vicious Circle and Feeling of Life just to name a few. Joining a stunning lineup of Adelaide's finest local hard dance DJs, with a special live performance by NARC, this is sure to keep the adrenalin pumping between the long weekends.

That sexy little minx of a DJ, Bexta comes to shove it hard at Traffic's Push on Sat 1 May. Joining the residents Brendon, Odyssey, Mr S, ATB, Dr Damage, Cheeky B, Quantum, Submission and H-Bomb, she's sure to get your juices flowing with her unique musical stylings.
