The long-delayed Carcass compilation 'Choice Cuts' will finally be available on Mon 17 April. Originally intended for release in 1999, the 'Best Of' was shelved indefinitely due to drummer Ken Owen's critical illness - a sudden brain haemorrhage that left him in a coma for 10 months. But following Owen's improvement, the 24-track disc is now ready for release - with the drummer planning to undertake a full interview for the disc regarding his memories of the band's career, his illness and his ongoing road to recovery. 'Choice Cuts' will also include a recording of the band's two Peel Sessions, recorded in 1988 and 1990.

more chaos more chaos, and it is beautiful this time around

year, plus video clips and footage of some hilarious backstage
antics.

Initial pressings will also include a bonus live DVD recorded during the band's 1982 'Screaming For Vengeance' tour.
Californian death/grind maestros Deeds Of
Flesh have recently announced their upcoming Australian tour
dates. The Adelaide show will take place on Fri 25 June at the
