Prize Frenzy™!

When historians and archaeologists look back on this period of history they'll sift through the rubble of Puff Manor with interest, examining charred shards of CD and passes to long-vanished movies with distinct claw marks down the face - and of course the burnt-out, sulphurous husk of the surrounding city - and they will wonder what manner of creature left such destruction. But we know the answer to that, right readers? It's the mighty Frenzor(tm), the nightmare beast of Prize Frenzy(tm), who offers up the following as part of a Faustian pact for your very soul; provided that you call 8231 0881 at 1pm on Fri 12 March...

1. Acquiescence is tying the Fringe off nicely at Higher Ground on Sun 14 March with a full day's worth of bands and performers - and you could be there by winning one of two double passes that the organisers have kindly slipped our way.

2. Julian Cram reckons that DJ Craze's CD 'Rugged Radio Saturday' is pretty darn great - which is why his review is this issue's 'We Liked It - And You Will Too!' Inertia Distribution are inclined to agree, which is why they've given us five copes thereof.

3. Want to get along to see the swanky gents of the Blackeyed Susans at the Regal tent on Sat 13 March? Sure you do - and you can, thanks to Buxton Walker Publicity.

4. Or maybe you'd like to see Even close the Regal's Fringe season on Sun 14 March, again thanks to Buxton Walker Publicity?

5. Ben Revi talks the proverbial talk with Justin Laffer of the Panics in this issue as they discuss their brand new 'Cracks In The Wall' mini-album -a record of which we have three copies, thanks to Embryo Records.

6. Then again, having read Chris Neihus' interview with Tyrone Noonan you might prefer the sounds of George's brand new 'Unity' CD. Conveniently, we have three copies up for grabs, thanks to FMR.

7. Maybe something of a more balls-to-the-wall quality is up your alley - like the wall-balling hardcore of No Grace, for example? We have tickets to their Enigma show on Sat 13 March (the Blink-182 afterparty, also with Staying At Home, and Wendy Icon), thanks to Trey Devlin Promotions.

Online Only Frenzy™!

George are doing an ultra-exclusive show at Jive (right next door to dB Magazine, conveniently enough) at midday on Thurs 11 March, and the good folks at FMR have furnished us with some passes to said show: first five people to email andrew@dbmagazine.com.au and ask nicely get the passes. Remember, it's an early one: don't wait for Friday!
