Trip Down The Gutter
The Society For The Protection Of...
FAD Bar until Fri 12 Mar

"This is year twelve. This is not the fun zone. From here on your life is hell." Thus is the recurring maxim and theme for this, one of the funniest of the little known and cheaper priced productions currently on offer at this year's Fringe.

Stuart (Tom‡s Ford) is facing his year twelve exams and is very under prepared. With the help of a guide played by Shane Adamczak, who also takes on the parts of his conscience and own worst influence, we're now taken on a maniacal tour inside the mind of a serial procrastinator.

With the use of a number of mix and match props and daftly portrayed characterisations of those most unwelcome and prominent in Stuart's tortured life, the trip you're about to be taken on is an absolute scream.

Hailing from Perth, 'Trip Down The Gutter' is an extremely fast paced excursion that is guaranteed to take you back to where you really don't want to go. Performed in physically exhausting theatre sports style that's all rush and grab, rough and tumble, yet accurate right down to the most horrible recollection, this is one reluctant rollercoaster ride you're going to be so masochistically glad you bought the ticket for. An absolute must see for anyone who's ever been there or is doing just that!
